Carbon Reduction Technology (CRT) are a UK-Indian company that manufactures and supplies the ‘e-lamp’, a low energy LED street light which uses a patented micro-processor based control system.
The control system manages the 5 key variables that impact the performance of LEDs to ensure an optimum level of efficiency for the e-lamp, which is 25% more efficient than it’s nearest LED street light rival. When compared with traditional High Pressure Sodium street lights CRT’s system provides saving in energy consumed and carbon output of over 65%.
With research and manufacturing based in India, the main commercial base is in the UK where it is headed by the brothers Alan and William Robson.
